Imaginary Abstract: This talk is about bio-inspired soft robotics, as the title shows --- "Bio- and Beyond," and about multi-stable structures.

Bio: Zechen Xiong is currently a fifth-year PhD candidate at Mechanical Engineering, Columbia University, New York. And he finished his bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering at Tsinghua University, Beijing. He is a member of the Creative Machines Lab of Columbia University and his research focuses on soft robotics and compliant mechanisms. His work has been published in prestigious journals including Advanced Energy Materials and Soft Matter. His recent work is published in ICRA2023 and others are posted on Arxiv and youtube.
