Human-Robot Interaction
Topics: telerobotics - robots for virtual reality - haptic interfaces
Telerobotics
We explore human-machine interfaces for efficient and safe remote control of various robotic systems including mobile robots, surgical manipulators, robot-manipulators operating in extreme environments. We develop and evaluate advanced graphical users interfaces, virtual reality environments and haptic interfaces for telerobotic systems.

Haptic Interfaces
One of the key topic at our centre is development of novel haptic interfaces for rendering various sensations of touch. We use different technologies for haptic rendering which include electromagnetic vibrotactile actuation, ultrasound, soft robotics.
