Interests
I am an interdisciplinary scientist with experience in applied physics, materials and robotics interested in solving current and challenging problems. As a part of the National Centre for Nuclear Robotics (NCNR) project, I am currently working on developing novel soft robotics technologies for application to nuclear decommissioning. My key research activities in the Centre for Advanced Robotics include:
-- Development of soft manipulators and analytical models to describe them for application to control, and
-- Creating novel sensorization and modelling techniques for proprioception and exteroception in soft robots.
